Case Study : Bridge Computational Design with Dynamo for Architects

ICC Level 4

This workshop is a case study on Dynamo use on the design of George Bolt Memorial Bridge in Auckland. We will be focusing on the methods of creating the geometry in Dynamo and translating that to Revit, what worked and what didn’t, how our approach changed from concept to detail design. Learn how we utilised Adaptive Components and Direct Shapes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discover methods of creating linear structures in Dynamo
  • Understand different methods of using Dynamo geometry in Revit
  • Gain understanding how different Dynamo workflows impact other Revit users
Workshop 1 (Beginners/Intermediate) Workshop 2 (Advanced)
